Join the Wheata Wombles today - Craig Gamble Pugh, East Ecclesfield Councillor
“People regularly tell me how frustrating it is to see litter around our community,” says local Councillor Craig Gamble Pugh. “Recently, residents around the Wheata and Tunwell areas asked me for help setting up a local litter picking group for this area.”
And so, the Wheata Wombles were born. “For people of my age, we remember the Wombles for their habit of keeping the area around them nice and clean,” says Craig.
“The Wheata Wombles will join the growing number of other community litter picking groups in our city.”
