Your local Labour Team are continuing to campaign for Blackburn Crescent to be properly resurfaced.

We do our best to respond to local issues in the East Ecclesfield Ward- including particularly bad road surfaces like we have on Blackburn Crescent.

People have been raising this with us for some time, and just before lockdown, Craig and Cllr Andy Bainbridge were getting assurances that it would be done. Despite us pressing the issue, the terrible road surface remains and is worsening steadily.

Last year, Cllr Craig Gamble Pugh set up a petition calling on council contractor Amey to resurface Blackburn Crescent. Many local residents signed it, but the road still did not make it onto the schedule of roads to be resurfaced this year.
