This much-loved playground sits in the middle of the Newton Chambers estate, at the northern end of the green space which stretches past the duck pond on Charlton Brook, south through the woods between the Thornbrook estate and the back of Lound Jrs.

The play equipment has stood the test of time since the houses were built. In April, another piece of balance apparatus had to be removed after local residents reported it to Craig.

Craig is calling for urgent repairs to the damaged equipment, and calling on the city and parish councils to urgently deliver on the promises of investment in new equipment and benches.

Furthermore, to clear up the duck pond and support the volunteers who look after the woodland, in order to keep this local amenity in good shape.
